Guests at the Society of Authors AGM

For authors and readers of Manchester-based i2i publishers, the Society of Authors are holding their AGM in the Stoller Hall at Chetham’s School of Music in the city on 29th November. SoA were perhaps once seen as a metropolitan entity with its head office in London’s Chelsea, but its more recent strategy reaches out nationally and internationally.  Building on strong member representation in all four countries of the union and the north of England in particular, holding this year’s AGM in Manchester is the latest part of this strategy. Here is the link to the event on SoA’s website:

Hugh Roberts who wrote Journeys with Open Eyes, Seeking Empathy with Strangers published by i2i last year, has recently joined the SoA’s Management Committee and will be contributing to one of the Panel sessions during the afternoon.
